ACCP Statement on Ivermectin Use for COVID19 Treat

Statement:
The American College of Correctional Physicians supports the use of evidence-based practices by all providers in the care and treatment of those residing in the carceral setting. According to evidence currently available, ivermectin is not indicated for COVID-19 treatment, and will not help our patients leave their correctional period in the best health and condition possible to re-enter their communities as contributing members of society.
