The ACCP’s current president, Jeffrey E. Keller, MD was awarded the B. Jaye Anno Award of Excellence in Communication in 2023 for his work as author of the Jail Medicine blog and the book “The Best of Jail Medicine.”  He is a Board Certified Emergency Physician with 25 years of emergency medicine practice experience before moving full-time into his “true calling” of correctional medicine. Dr. Keller is a Fellow of both the American College of Emergency Physicians and the American College of Correctional Physicians.
