Dr. Rebecca Ballard has been taking care of incarcerated individuals for over 20 years and is now the national utilization management director for Centurion. In addition to seeing patients, she reviews the off-site referral process, develops systems to make the referral process more efficient, strives to maximize telehealth resources, and educates providers on current, evidence-based management of patients’ conditions. She is a board-certified internist, and a CCHP-P, a current fellow and past-president of the ACCP.
