ACCP Grand Rounds is the only twice-monthly forum devoted to clinical education in correctional healthcare. On the first and third Thursday of each month, a clinician who practices behind the walls presents to a national audience of peers — and then takes questions live. Every session is recorded and added to the member library, so you can join the discussion or return to it on your own schedule.
Correctional clinicians often practice at a distance from academic medicine and from one another. Grand Rounds closes that distance on a fixed schedule, with faculty drawn from the same systems and an agenda set by what practitioners actually encounter.
First and third Thursday at 1:00 PM Eastern, year-round. Twenty-three sessions are on the 2026 calendar, so continuing education does not wait for an annual meeting.
Chiefs of dentistry, state medical directors, correctional pharmacists, infection preventionists and departmental nursing leadership — presenting programs and protocols they have implemented in their own systems.
Every session closes with open Q&A. Bring the case you are managing, the policy you are trying to advance or the workflow that keeps breaking — and put it to a colleague who has faced the same constraints.
